from the North-West take the A12 motorway to the mandatory Rosignano exit; here take the Aurelia towards Grosseto;

from the North-East take the A1 motorway to Firenze Signa; here then take the FI-PI-LI highway towards Livorno; upon reaching Collesalvetti, take the A12 motorway towards Rome and exit at Rosignano; then take the SS Aurelia towards Grosseto.

from the south take the A1 or the A24 to Rome then take the A12 motorway to Civitavecchia and then take the SS Aurelia towards Livorno.
